Tarot Of Love
by Wulfing von Rohr and Gayan S. Winter
Cards designed by Marcia Perry

I'm still not really sure about this deck.  The artwork is very well done.  The whole concept, that of a tarot deck designed for use in issues regarding love and relationships, is different from what I really expected.  There is a lot more continuity and consistency here than I figured on.

The suits have all been renamed to represent more positive and emotional issues and even the court cards are representative of this fact.  The suits used are Lightnings, Rods, Blossoms and Nuggets.  The court cards are Princess, Prince, Queen and King.

The biggest difference of all lies in the Major Arcana.  Only seven of these remain unchanged, the rest have been transformed into archetypes of relationship and emotion which are more suited to the deck's purpose of emotional content.

The deck itself is of standard size and shuffles easily.  The enclosed booklet is fairly thick for its type and carries a LOT of information on the use of the deck.  There is a book you can purchase to accompany them, which would give even greater insight into the use of the deck within its intended parameters.

Personally I don't really get into the idea of buying a deck for use in questions all along one matter.  However, there is a use for them described within the book which gave me pause.  It is a way to use these cards between two partners in an existing relationship to open the ways of communication between the partners and help them more fully realize their relationship's potential.

I think in this respect this deck would indeed be helpful, if both partners were willing and open-minded.  Therefore, in this respect, it does earn my recommendation.
