The Spiral Tarot
a guest review by Candice Sacco

I recently purchased the Spiral Deck because I was looking for something that would keep me a little more interested than the Robin Wood deck that I have been using since I started. So, I hopped on Wicce’s site and checked out her reviews. I am very open minded when it comes to cards, and I think that anyone can learn to use any deck over time. The trick is to find a deck that fits your personality.

As soon as I saw the pictures of this deck, something inside said, “This is it!” So, I decided to get it. When I opened the box, I was flabbergasted by the art. The colors used are so beautiful and the pictures are magnificent. Each card is better than the last. The suits are Swords, Wands, Cups, and Pentacles. The only difference from other decks is that instead of a "Page" of each suit, there is a "Princess."

Now that I had seen the cards, I was a bit afraid that they would be hard to read. I’ve only been reading for a little over two years, which really isn’t that long. I read through the little booklet. I normally don’t really use the booklets for anything more than an occasional “cheat sheet”, but this one is actually really nice because it gives a little insight to each card as well as the divinitory and reversed meanings. Surprisingly, it didn’t take long at all to learn how to read this deck. Now, I don’t think I could’ve made a better choice! I wouldn’t necessarily recommend it for a beginner, but you don’t have to be an advanced reader to understand it.

If you have any other questions about this deck, feel free to email me. I’d love to hear your views on it!
