There certainly has been a tremendous growth of interest in runes in the last decade or so.  Particularly since "The Book of Runes" by Ralph Blum was first released, which is a set of ceramic runes with an accompanying clothbound book that pretty much popularized the use of runes in divination.  Here is a long list of books and decks that are Rune-oriented.
