Who is Wicce?

Wicce, also known as Gina to her friends and family, lives in the illustrious old city of Scranton, PA, which for all its small-town atmosphere has proven to be a mecca of religious tolerance.  Originally from Long Island, New York, Wicce moved to Scranton in 1983 in order to attend college for communications and theater arts.

Wicce has been reading tarot since 1987, and reads cards professionally for clients of Possibilities Books & Gifts, located at 231 Pittston Avenue, in Scranton.  A minister of Wicca for the Universal Life Church, her tarot readings take the form of pastoral counseling, and the objective is psychological self-empowerment rather than fortunetelling, in keeping with the dawn of a new millenium.  It is her interest in the tarot, both personally and professionally, which has led to the creation of this website.  Wicce is currently undertaking the study of Reiki, having just taken Level One Attunement and Training in the Usui Method, and is looking forward eagerly to Level Two.  This is a journey whose ultimate goal is Karuna Reiki Master Attunement and Training at Stonehenge itself!  (I always knew I’d get there somehow!)

In December 2004, Wicce married her longtime friend and beloved partner, known as Buddhist Ed.  Together they have four furry children, Nicodemus, Patchouli, Winnie and Tansy.  Wicce finally gets to play “mom” as Ed’s daughter Elizabeth has become a very close friend and much-valued family member.  Wicce teaches study classes in Wicca, Tarot, Runes and other forms of divination, and acts as a spiritual and psychic counselor to many.  The one thing Wicce enjoys more than tarot is performing Weddings, and she is available to help plan the spiritual wedding of your dreams!

Wicce has published articles on the Tarot for Cauldrons and Broomsticks, an online Wiccan newsletter, as well as the Llewellyn’s Tarot Calendar and the 2004 Magical Almanac.  Wicce is currently working on two tarot books, one that is geared towards the beginner in general, and one that is specific to her most recent creation, the Pagan Tarot Deck.  She has also helped to design, and wrote the Little White Booklet for, the Tarot of Medieval Cats, with her very special friend, Lawrence Teng.  Make sure you check them out!
