Tarot For Cats
a guest review by Donna Davis

Tarot For Cats is great fun.  Though the deck is probably useless for actual readings, meditation or pathworking, the book that comes with the cards is absolutely hilarious.  Of course, it's crucial to be a cat lover, or forget it.  If you are a cat person, you'll probably be calling up all your cat-loving friends and reading the book to them over the phone.  In fact, knowledge of cats is much more essential than any knowledge of tarot for this deck.

There are only the twenty-two major arcana cards illustrated by Kipling West, who also illustrated the Halloween Tarot and The Amazing Fortunetelling Book.  It's too bad, too, because I'd have enjoyed more of Regen Dennis' sly card interpretations.

I highly recommend Tarot For Cats to all cat fanciers and collectors, but serious folks with no kitty sense of humor should look elsewhere.
