The Story Behind the Pagan Tarot

This is, first and foremost, a book about tarot. Not just about any tarot, but about the meaning, design and symbolism behind the creation of my tarot deck, the Pagan Tarot, which is published through LoScarabeo in Torino, Italy, and distributed in the US by Llewellyn Worldwide. However, this is as much a story about how the deck came to be, as it is a primer on using tarot. It is a story about American modern wicca, and the story as it is told by the deck itself.

It is the story of a modern Witch in America. It is my story. And it is your story. Read it. Live it. And know that each of the situations, regardless of whether you are a practitioner of Wicca or not, apply to every one of us at some point in our lives. We have all been down this road in one form or another, or will pass down that road at some point in our futures.
